Mythic Journeys
Whitney Boe, Steven Boe 2009
Categories: Feature Documentary
Run time: 97 min. | USA
Mythic Journeys is a multi-layered masterpiece, a unique fusion of documentary, animation and story starring Tim Curry, Mark Hamill and Lance Henriksen. Documentary-style interviews are interwoven with a Hi-Def stop-motion animated adaptation of an ancient myth where a noble king is charged with the grim task of delivering a corpse to a mysterious sorcerer. Award-winning filmmakers Steven & Whitney Boe engage the audience with a thought-provoking, unpretentious, and often humorous style that captures the essence of what it is to be human and affirms the idea “Every Life is a Story and that Story can Change the World.” Filmmakers Steven & Whitney Boe as well as composer Stuart Balcomb will be attending the Santa Fe screenings.
